The State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra, has officially released the seat allotment results for the Centralized Admission Process (CAP) Round 3 for engineering (BE/BTech) courses. 

Despite three successive counseling rounds, a massive vacancy persists across the state, with over 16,000 engineering seats remaining unfilled. This serves as a crucial final window of opportunity for thousands of aspiring engineering students who have yet to secure admission or are seeking a seat upgrade.

MHT CET BTech Admission 2026: Important Dates

Candidates who have been successfully allotted seats in CAP Round 3 must adhere strictly to the following schedule to secure their admissions:

  • Physical Reporting to College: Candidates must visit their allotted institutes between August 25 and August 28, 2026.
  • Document Verification & Fee Payment: Submission of original documents and final fee payments must be completed by August 28, 2026.
  • Display of Vacant Seats for Next Round: The CET Cell will publish the vacant seat matrix for subsequent institutional or spot rounds on August 29, 2026.

  • Total Seat Capacity: Maharashtra offered a total of 2,03,270 engineering seats for the 2026–27 academic year.

Students who received their desired seat must log in to the portal, accept the allotment, pay the seat acceptance fee, and report to their respective colleges before the deadline.
