The Bihar government has officially launched the ‘Vidya Saathi’ app, a pioneering 24×7 interactive digital platform designed to provide free, round-the-clock academic support to students from Classes 9 to 12.
The initiative, unveiled by Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary, aims to democratise quality education by offering instant, one-on-one doubt-solving sessions and specialized coaching for competitive exams like JEE and NEET. Students can get details on the official BSEB website.
Bihar ‘Vidya Saathi’ App: Expanding Digital Education
In its initial phase, the Bihar Vidya Saathi scheme will be implemented across 700 model schools spanning all 38 districts of the state. The program is set to benefit approximately 3 lakh students, leveraging a massive network of 75,000 teachers working on rotation to provide live, personalized video tutoring.

The state government plans to expand the initiative to all public high schools across Bihar in subsequent phases, bridging the rural-urban educational divide.
